Here is my entry from April 24
"My cat, Cheerio, who is around 6 years old is in a very bad condition. *sigh* We took her to the vet, and got results that she has a bladder infection, her kidneys were failing, and she was almost completely dehydrated... she had also been pooping out blood ... (Thats why we brought her to the vet) I love my kitty so much and I dont want her to go and die...yet. Because she was dehydrated they got IV on her. Now she is on antibiotics, which she has to take every day. It costed us $1,200 to get all this done. If she doesn't recover well we are thinking about youthanizing her.
I REALLY want everything to go well with her. She is my lufferly. Please pray for her healing. "

Now that you know pretty much what is going on with her...
We've now spent over $1,600 on her. That is all the money we had. I've grown up in a life of poverty and lived in the same house my whole life so far, and that was the money we needed to get out of the crappy place we are in now. Instead, we loved our cat that really should not have gotten sick. She takes several different antibiotics. EVERY single darn day, or every two days, I have to go to the vet and get fluids in her.
The heat is bad for her, so shes worse off. Right now She is infront of TWO fans trying to keep cool, and that doesnt seem to be working. She is breathing faintly, and her eyes looks so dim, while her face seems bright and hopeful.
I was talking to my mom about just putting her to sleep, and now she has come up with the idea, "Let's go to the vet, give her fluids tomorrow. Then just keep her on antibiotics. Giver her 2 or 3 days. If she gets any better, we'll let her live longer.."
(She had this idea because we dont have the money) The vet actually just called 5 minutes ago, and my mom was talking with the lady and they set that idea up... if she doesnt get better... they agreed that she(the vet) would come over our house, and put her to sleep here then at the office. We wanted her home to be the last thing she sees. And it makes me cry to even think that. I feel like crap, my mom feels like crap, my cat feels like crap, and my brother doesnt even care - and it is HIS cat.

Cheerio feels stiff like she could actually die any minute and not survive the rest of the day. She feels good enough that when you touch her, she curls her paws around your wrist, and rubs her head against you. It makes you feel good inside. But on the outside, you have tears coming, that wont stop... I love her, I want her to get well, and stay well... Please please please please pray or do something. She still has time before...
Oh and forgot. She has gotten SMALLER than my kitten...
She weighs less, is very very very light... like a feather (I really mean like a feather, im not using figurative language here.) And she is bony and skinny.
She wont eat nor drink.
